Queen's University Centre for Economic History (QUCEH) is an interdisciplinary research centre based at Queen's Management School, Queen's University Belfast. It brings together faculty and graduate students working on the economic study of the past from across the university and elsewhere.
Gyorky Ranki Prize
QUCEH Research Affiliate Bruce Campbell has been awarded the Gyorgy Ranki Biennial Prize for an Outstanding Book on the Economic History of Europe at the 2017 meetings of the Economic History Association in San Jose for his book The Great Transition: Climate, Disease and Society in the Late-Medieval World.
Graduate Study Opportunities
MSc in Economics
Queen's Management School hosts an MSc programme in Economics. The programme has an Economic History track, and offers all the necessary training to pursue a PhD in Economic History. Applicants must hold a prior degree in economics or a related subject, and have achieved at least an upper second class degree classification.
