Innovation and New Technologies

The keynote speaker will be Dr Gerben Bakker, Associate Professor of Economic History at the London School of Economics. Dr Bakker has published in the fields of innovation, economic and business history, corporate finance, and intellectual property rights. His research has appeared in journals such as The Journal of Economic History and Research Policy, and he is the author of a book on the industrialisation of entertainment published by Cambridge University Press in 2008.
