Queen's Business School

QUCEH is a research centre of Queen's Business School (QBS), Queen's University Belfast (QUB). QBS's mission is to equip leaders to transform local and global business and society through education and research. Its vision is to be an internationally engaged, recognised, and accredited business school that interacts with and influences business and society.

QBS offers world-class undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive education. The School has six core academic departments and one institute: the Departments of Accounting; Economics; Finance; International Business, Entrepreneurship, and Marketing; Information Technology, Analytics, and Operations; Organisation, Work, and Leadership; and the Clinton Leadership Institute.

Queen’s University Belfast is a member of the Russell Group, and the School is a globally renowned centre for high-impact academic and policy research with close links to industry. 81% of the School’s research was deemed to be world-leading or internationally excellent in the UK’s 2021 Research Excellence Framework.

The School is triple-crown accredited by EQUIS, AMBA, AACSB. Additionally, it holds a Small Business Charter award, is a PRME Champion, and has an Athena Swan Bronze Award. As a member of the Global Business School Network, the School is connected through strategic partnerships across the world. In 2023, Queen’s Business School was ranked 1st in the UK for Graduate Prospects for Accounting and Finance (Times Good University Guide).

QBS is located in Riddel Hall, a B1 listed building, designed by W. H. Lynn in 1913. The facility, set in 11 acres of beautiful parkland, is situated within the Stranmillis Conservation Area adjacent to the main university campus. The site comprises a purpose-built business school building and Postgraduate and Executive Education Centre with conference facilities.

In 2023, QBS opened its new Student Hub building on the Riddel Hall site. QUCEH moved into the top floor of this award-winning building, which also houses various other facilities, including a cafe, a trading room, office space for postgraduate students, meeting rooms and lecture theatres.
