Historical Perspectives on Finance and Corporate Governance

In recent years there has been an increasing appetite by the leading journals in finance and economics for studies using history as their laboratory. Such studies provide new insights into contemporary issues. To further stimulate this development, Queen’s University Centre for Economic History invites PhD students to submit proposals for individual papers providing new historical perspectives on questions in finance and corporate governance. Accepted participants will receive feedback on their research from senior scholars.

Details for presenters:
- 45 minutes for each paper
- 30 minutes for the presentation
- 10 minutes for the discussant
- 5 minutes for Q&A
