On 11-12 February 2021, the Department of Economics at the University Zurich of will host a Virtual Frontier Research in Economic and Social History (FRESH) meeting. FRESH meetings aim at gathering researchers to present their ongoing research at an early stage, and discuss them with peers, in a friendly environment. The broad theme of the meeting is “Living standards and economic development in historical perspective”.
The keynote speaker will be Suresh Naidu, Professor in Economics and International and Public Affairs at Columbia University, who will present his work on institutions, labour markets, income inequality, and economic development.
